Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management witnessed yet another successful and encouraging summer placements process this year. Summer Placements 2012 saw an increased number of companies participating in the process compared to last year. SJMSOM is increasingly becoming the preferred destination for many industry majors looking for summer interns. The average stipend offered was INR 73.6 thousand, while the highest and median stipends offered were INR 3.5 lakh and INR 48 thousand respectively. The variety of profiles on offer for students has increased over the past few years. Companies from diverse sectors like BFSI, Consulting, IT/ITeS, Manufacturing and FMCG participated in the process this year.
