IIM-Indore holds Hindi Workshop

A ‘Hindi Workshop’ aimed at promoting the use of the national language was held at IIM-Indore - nuances of grammar and their usage were explained clearly.

 

Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Assistant Director at ESIC, Indore was the Guest Speaker for the occasion. He spoke about Standard Hindi Spelling & Grammar and its use in Administrative Work. He spoke about use of communication in administrative tasks on a daily basis and problems in practical uses of the Hindi language, and how these can be overcome. 

 

The event began with a rendition of Dr.Mridula Sinha’s song ‘Hindi Bharat MaakiBindi’. The attendees were welcomed by Mr. Jaynath Yadav, Hindi Officer, IIM-Indore. His address emphasized the importance of the Hindi language- it is our duty as citizens of this country to embrace the language and conduct our workings in our language.

 

Col. K.T.Udupa, CAO, IIM-Indore was present at the event which was well-received by members of faculty and staff.
