As the Head of an ERP Consulting company, it is very distressing sometimes to find medium sized companies getting ino ERP and due to lack of top management commitment or wrong team of people or managers who are not able to think in terms of processes, mess up the implementation. in the end, they blame either the product or the consultants without introspection. This is actually their own loss of valuable time, money and resources.
Driving a message of professionalism in such organbizations works only marginally. Pity, their growth is stumped by such self-inflicting attitude and time it is for them to open up to the realities and become mor e professional for their own well being.
I would welcome some success stories in small and medium organizations with ERP solution.
